THE OBJECTIVE OF MOUNTAIN STATES DETECTION DOGS IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY CERTIFIED TEAMS FOR THE TYPE OF SEARCH REQUEST.

WE MAINTAIN A RESOURCE LIST OF CERTIFIED TEAMS THROUGHOUT WESTERN IDAHO, EASTERN OREGON AND SOUTH EASTERN WASHINGTON AND WILL DEPLOY EXPERIENCED TEAMS CLOSEST TO YOUR LOCATION. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE CLOSURE OR ANSWERS TO THE FAMILIES.

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

JULIE GIBSON STARTED SAR IN 1992 AND CERTIFIED HER FIRST DOG IN 1994, SHE HAS SINCE BEEN ON OVER 100 HRD SEARCHES, 70 WATER HRD SEARCHES PLUS NUMEROUS SAR MISSIONS. SHE EVALUATES TEAMS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY AND HAS PERFORMED HUNDREDS OF EVALUATIONS SINCE 1997. JULIE HAS CERTIFIED 7 DOGS AND CURRENTLY SPECIALIZES IN WATER AND FORENSIC HUMAN REMAINS DETECTION WORK.

WE RECOGNIZE TEAMS THAT HAVE TESTED TO FEMA STANDARDS OF SEARCH AND RESCUE, THROUGH K9 CERTIFICATION ORGANIZATIONS .

WE ARE A 501c3 NON PROFIT K9 TEAM AND OUR DEPLOYMENT WILL NOT COST YOUR AGENCY A DIME.

We dispatch teams based on your need and it will not cost anything, however you are welcome to fill a gas tank, provide food or lodging if required.
